La Vita e Bella with Zanussi and National Schools Partnership

14 Jun 2010

We’ve been running the campaign La Vita e Bella with Zanussi in schools since April this year and have had some fabulous feedback.

The campaign engages over 300,000 pupils aged 7-11 and their families through creative and colourful educational resources.  The whole programme is based around Enzo the Chef who helps the children learn about the history and ingredients of italian food and how to cook the food at home for their families to recreate the italian mealtime experience. This seems to be working judging on the feedback from one particular teacher we had recently:

“My Year 7 group throughly enjoyed making Pizzas in their Italy topic for Humanities, I used the information on pasta as well and the whole lesson was a great success (actually 3 lessons I teach 3 different ability groups and the bottom set’s pizza’s were the best!) I even had ‘Haribo’ pizza! and smoked salmon as alternatives. Many thanks for supporting resources.”  Sue Williams (humanities teacher – Cranborne Middle school)

Good to know the campaign is encouraging some budding chefs out there but not sure about Haribo Pizza!
