National Schools Partnership hosted its autumn ‘Business & Education’ event last month – an idea-sharing and networking lunch with the purpose of creating an open discussion forum for CSR, CR and community engagement professionals from the commercial and corporate world, as well as community & education teams from charities, alongside experts from the education sector.
Organisations in attendance included Network Rail, BAA, Credit Suisse, RBS, JP Morgan, BP, John Laing, Shelter, The Prince’s Trust, Greenwich Education Business Partnership, The Schools Network and the Department for Education. The combination of representatives created a stimulating mix for active and engaged discussion about how business can support education, and to what benefits for both parties.
Many thanks to all our guests for joining us and contributing to the discussions – we found it very interesting and hope you did too. We have put together an outline of the points discussed – please click here.
We will be running further events in 2012. Please email email@example.com to register your interest for future occasions.
