Last year National Schools Partnership developed an education programme to support Volkswagen in their work to promote BlueMotion technology. The ‘Search for Blue Minds’ project included creative education resources and a competition to find the UK’s most promising future car designers. It all culminated with an exciting awards ceremony at the Science Museum in London.
We are very pleased to announce that MediaCom, who oversaw the wider BlueMotion campaign, have just won a Media Week Award for the work. BlueMotion refers to the technology which enables VW to manufacture a range of cars with a significantly improved fuel economy and reduced emissions. As well as honing engineering skills the competition increased understanding of BlueMotion amongst families and encouraged parents and children to visit the Volkswagen BlueMotion event.
