National Schools Partnership has had some exciting news this week – we have been shortlisted for two European Sponsorship Association Excellence Awards for our work with Birds Eye and Nike. We entered the Business to Consumer (Low Budget) category with our work on Birds Eye’s The Great Food Journey, and the Business to Community category with our work bringing Nike Training Club to schools.
We are really pleased to be shortlisted for both of our entries, particularly as the ESA received entries from 13 countries and across all industry sectors. We think this just goes to show how fantastic these campaigns are and how privileged we are to be part of them. Working with Birds Eye we have taught children at 3,492 schools about the journey of peas from field to fork, and distributed half a million seed packs so that kids can see the growing process in action. With Nike we have engaged girls at 19% of London secondary schools in sport and fitness through the excellent Nike Training Club programme.
Fingers crossed we will win a trophy on 31st January!
