News from National Schools Partnership

Posted on Friday, April 19th, 2013

Client news:

  • Film is a fantastic educational tool and we are really happy to be working with Film Nation, the new organisation chosen to run the British Film Institute (BFI)’s Film Education programme. This visionary initiative will take place over four years and be available to every 5-19 year old in the UK. We can’t wait to get started on exciting a new generation about film, both in and outside of the classroom
  • Another great new National Schools Partnership client is Breast Cancer Campaign. We will be helping them in their effort to increase fundraising and awareness of their important cause in schools

Staff news:

  • We are pleased to welcome Caroline Horgan to the National Schools Partnership team. Caroline is our new Engagement Executive and joined after gaining marketing and communications experience at a recruitment firm
  • Big congratulations to Belinda Surjadi who has recently been promoted to Account Director. Belinda joined us in 2011 as an Account Manager and currently works on various clients including Dettol, Sky, and Manchester Airports Group

Award news:

  • Learning is at the heart of everything we do and so it was fantastic to be awarded the best Education & Learning accolade at last month’s 2013 Hollis Sponsorship Awards for our work with Marks & Spencer on School of Fish. This award celebrates the campaign which best achieves learning goals and winning is testament to our team, the M&S team, and all the schools  and families learning about marine issues, thanks to Marks & Spencer
  • Our work with Birds Eye on the peas phase of The Great Food Journey was also recently awarded the 2012 European Sponsorship Association Excellence Award for Best Business to Consumer (Low Budget) campaign. The Great Food Journey programme brings to life the journey of food from field to fork for children and families and winning the award was a tribute to the success of the project
