Winner of Lego Technic Challenge 2010

Posted on Tuesday, November 9th, 2010

Now in its third year, our Lego Technic Challenge has proved as popular as ever.  The competition was part of a campaign we ran in schools for Lego and encouraged children to use their imagination to create wild and wonderful Lego constructions.

As well as downloadable classroom resources for Design & Technology lessons, we also provided the children with fun Lego activities which they could do online and offline at school and home.  Over 1,500 schools signed up for the resources and we had a huge response to the Lego Technic Challenge – the Grand Mega winner of which was Finely Hudson from Woodside Primary School in Oswestry.  Well done to Finely who will now be featured in a TV ad for Lego and wins £250 worth of Lego Technic for himself and £350 worth for his school.

Needless to say, Finely was pretty pleased, saying, ” I spend most of my spare time playing with lego and it’s amazing to have won such great lego sets.”
