We helped position Dettol as the champion for hygiene education and build brand credibility amongst young families
When Dettol launched a new brand strategy, Mission for Health in 2011, they asked National Schools Partnership to create a corresponding education programme to promote health and hygiene to children and their parents, and in doing so transform their brand image amongst young families. Dettol’s brand mission is “to be the trusted champion of health everyday” and we’ve been helping them translate this message to teachers, pupils and parents for the last six years.
We created the Planet Health School Programme which uses creative elements including posters, stickers and games to engage young children at nursery and primary schools with healthy hand washing. Registered teachers can access resources from the Planet Health website to deliver exciting lessons for pupils that combine education with fun and creativity to help to embed learning. The resources, including activity sheets and assembly presentations are split in to three key areas:
Parents were driven to the Planet Health website where they get advice on maintaining a healthy home environment, creating an holistic in-school and at-home approach.
They are a trusted renowned brand, so it is great that they are promoting good hygiene skills to young people and families.
The programme is extremely beneficial in supporting the work we do day to day with our children and their families.
It was a good way to bring parents and teachers together to teach their families/children hygiene.
